Join A Resilient Neighborhood Team Today
Take a Climate Action Workshop with Resilient Neighborhoods. Eleven years ago, longtime Marin resident and environmentalist Tamra Peters founded a nonprofit, Resilient Neighborhoods, to help Marin households lessen their carbon footprint and prepare for emergencies like wildfires and power outages. The program was recently endorsed by Drawdown Marin as an effective solution to climate change by driving climate-friendly behavior changes- over 1,500 people have reduced 8.6 million pounds of CO2 pollution through their workshops.
You can sign up now for the free online 5-session workshop to help with the climate emergency and learn “CPR for the Planet.” Join others who also want to create a safe and healthy future!
Workshops start on March 25th from 4-6 pm and March 31st from 6:30-8:30pm. Click here to learn more and sign up.

She also spearheaded our largest forum for both community members and key decision makers on building sustainable communities. Marla is an active volunteer in our community, including chairing the annual giving campaign for Marin School of the Arts at Novato High for four consecutive years. She is a marketing director for a technology firm and enjoys spending time exploring Novato’s trails with her husband, son and daughter.
